Throughout this course, we have seen the many distinct ways that art is used to enhance people’s lives. In the New Yorker we see that art is a great outlet to express complex emotions and messages; making it the obvious route for us to interpret this confusing pandemic. As a result of our coursework in Talk of the Town, discussions opened our thought process and caused us to pay attention to motifs, themes, and refrains in the articles we’ve read. One of the best aspects of art, is the fact that it’s subjective. None of us had the same exact experience with each piece. We wanted to highlight this in our final pieces. All of us used different mediums, and interpreted our semester's worth of articles with our own unique voice.
